The other day I overheard this conversation between a customer and another teller at my branch:
Customer, observing our $100,000 FDIC signs: "Didn't the government just raise the FDIC limit to a quarter of a million dollars?"
Teller: "Oh no, it's not that much. Only $250,000."
Customer: "..."
Please take note that the customer made sure to count his cash three times before he left the teller station.

'Tis the Season...
As you know, Brooke and I are in Florida. It has been nice so far. We've had the opportunity to see some friends, and tonight was no different. We had dinner with a guy (at first I was going to write kid, but he's no longer a kid anymore) who was in the youth group while I was in Florida. We had some really good Chinese food, then dropped him off at church for a devotional time. While we were going back to Chuck and Wanda's, we passed by Lowe's and saw "seasonal merchandise." In other words, Christmas decorations are on the shelves. So of course, Brooke and I had to stop and look around.
It was an enjoyable half hour, browsing through the Christmas trees, lights, decorations, villages, and such. We still have a little over a month before we'll start putting out our Christmas decorations, but I'm getting ready for Christmas. I've already got the Christmas CDs in my car - ok, they haven't come out since last year, but that's not the point. The stores are gearing up for Christmas, and that makes us happy. That's the point.

I don't care.
Brooke told me I needed to blog before she hacked into my account and blogged for me. Apparently, this is quite the rage - wives hacking into their husbands accounts and blogging for them. Just ask Kenny and Baron.
So I asked Brooke what I should blog about, and she replied, "I don't care." So, I Googled, "I don't care," and this is what I got:
So, Dear, this blog's for you.

See Spot.
So about two months ago I saw Spot. He wasn't cute, nor did I want to cuddle with him. Today, the doctor took spot away. Now spot is going to a lab somewhere to be "cut up like a Snicker's bar and looked at with a microscope." (according to my doc.) I don't think anything will really come of Spot, but here is a picture of my leg after he was removed.

Wow, I really suck at this blogging thing. However, it isn't because my life is boring. As a matter of fact, if anything, I've been too busy to blog. Well, maybe that isn't right either - I just don't make it a priority to blog. On the other hand, Brooke is an extremely better blogger than I am. So, if you're really that interested in what's going on, you can always check out her blog. :) So, that's my excuse for not blogging.
In other news, Christmas was great. We got to see my Mom and Dad in Memphis, then travel to Ft. Walton Beach to see Brooke's family. All in all, a really good Christmas. Then for New Year's Eve we went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I know, you're thinking who in the world is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They're the ones that do the awesome Christmas music (Christmas Eve, Sarajevo; Wizards in Winter; Christmas Cannon). Next year, make plans to go. It doesn't matter if you have floor seats, seats on the first level, or nosebleed seats, they are all great seats. We've had floor seats for the last two years, but I think I'm going to try and get seats in the first level next year, just for a different perspective.
I guess that's all for now. I've got a ton of parts in for my secret project, but no pictures to show yet. I'll probably post some in the next couple of weeks.
